The ‘Mercati di Città’ food shops have been serving the community in Stornara, Foggia and Lucera since 1991, offering value for money and quality you can depend on. The chain has now opened a restaurant in Foggia and its promise is that no one will go home hungry.
The restaurant has the same authenticity as the ‘Mercati di Città’ shops, serving food made from good, wholesome products chosen daily by people who love what they do. When you enter, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, as the market becomes a place where you can enjoy new culinary experiences. It is open from breakfast through to dinner and also has an exclusive private space to celebrate special occasions.

The idea of opening the restaurant in this strategic location was to breathe new life into this once neglected neighbourhood that is ready to reclaim its former glory. The aim was to create a space where people can meet, connect and rediscover the pleasure of spending time together.
Our contribution to the project was our Steambox Master, an intuitive and versatile oven that guarantees the highest levels of organisation and precision an open kitchen requires. It’s just what a fledgling kitchen needs, as it helps turn an ambitious creative idea for a new restaurant and, more importantly, new and delicious dishes into a success. The equipment was installed by our partner in Puglia, Cianfano Arredamenti (Foggia), who combines style and functionality to create spaces that not only make a visual impact but also increase efficiency in the kitchen.
