Previewed at Host 2011, the MAGNIFICO multi-function oven, the latest arrival from Giorik, is now on sale. It is multi-functional because the sides with double fitments, which can hold both GN 1/1 and 600x400 trays, make the oven capable of meeting the needs of both GASTRONOMY and PATISSERIE. It is “Magnifico” because it is able to accomplish this without any change to its external measurements which are extremely compact for an oven of this type, guaranteeing excellent cooking performance and a top quality result. Although Magnifico has not been designed for mass-catering, it is built to the same standard of excellence, incorporating such special features as the humidity tuner, the unique humidity control system that allows constant monitoring of the climate within the cooking chamber, ensuring the food always maintains the right degree of moisture. Then there is the inner probe, for precision cooking, and the Delta-T function for low temperature cooking. Magnifico can also be equipped, on request, with an innovative, completely automatic cleaning system that facilitates this operation and cuts water-consumption to the minimum. Magnifico can be supplied in the convection version, with or without humidifier, or in the combined steam/convection version. With Magnifico it is possible to choose from a wide range of cooking methods, to regenerate food and hold it at the right temperature. It can be fitted with either an electro-mechanical or a completely electronic control panel. The latter version is programmable with a user-friendly, touch-pad interface, originally developed for the Steambox “P”, the Giorik top-of-the-range oven. The Magnifico electronic system is able to store 99 recipes in its memory which can be programmed for up to 9 cooking phases, plus preheat, and which can be uploaded from a USB pen drive.
