Giorik has notched up a top-flight order for the Pontifical Roman Seminary. An oven from the Steambox Evolution range, installed by Micheletti Frigoriferi of Rome, Giorik’s area dealer, has gone into service in the kitchens of the Rome-based college. The Roman Seminary was established in Rome in 1565 as a seat of clerical training. Today it is located alongside the Basilica of St. John Lateran, in the eponymous square Piazza S. Giovanni Laterano, named after the Christian cathedral itself. Former pupils of the Roman Seminary include, amongst others, Pope John XXIII (the Good Pope), born Angelo Roncalli, who first embarked on his theological studies here.
